There is no such thing as boredom in my vocabulary. In fact, I've always felt a little guilty if life ever slowed down a bit; the gears want to GO- clean this, cook that, fix this, visit so and so, go here, go there. etc etc!
My daughter has taught me the beauty of SLOWING DOWN and enjoying the awesome small things in life that we take for granted. She loves to walk around and scrutinize EVERYTHING! Part of me wants to hurry her along, but I just LOVE how intriguing life is to her! She forms her mouth into a little 'Oh!', and stops and points to everything interesting, making sure that I see it.
Flowers are amazing. Windmills do go round and round. Baby chicks are so fluffy and cute. Gma's rain guage does have a pretty little frog on it. There is a tiny black bug crawling across the carpet.
As I teach my child, my child teaches me!
