Sleep well, little eyes

Night-time is so sweet. Those peaceful little bodies are so cozy in their snug beds.

I love to look back on the day and think about how it unfolded- and I always come to the conclusion that's there's ALWAYS room for more love..more patience...more 'looking at life through a child's' eyes'.
I treasure the time I take to slow down and go at a child's pace- to walk super slow down the hallway because everything is so fascinating. To ponder the 'why's' in everything. To peek in on their play time.
To have a little extra mess because there are eager, helping hands
To allow them to recognize the joy of lending a helping hand

To be silly and laugh our heads off

To read the same book over and over again. To simply play with them and see the joy in their eyes when they receive undivided attention.
To foster the relationships they are building with special people
The list is endless.

'The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- they must be felt with the heart.    Helen Keller
