The 'Jess and Jess' visit

It's not too late to post about the weekend, right? I'd put some pics up but the 'server is rejecting them', whatever that means! You'll just have to trot on over to Shutterfly...oh wait, it's not updated. :-)

Anyway, Jess T and Jess F came from Appleton to spend the weekend with us and go skiing. We'd never met Jess F before, but we hit it off and had a great time!

They all went skiing on Saturday (including Jerome). I stayed home with Rhya and pouted. Just kidding. I actually had a fun day- Gpa Mark 'n Gma Mo came over to watch Rhya so I could get more done with my online classes. I even took a break from that and took Sakari and Kennan skijoring around the baseball diamond. I only fell 5 times. ha.

We had a houseful for supper- all of the skiers, Gary and Amber, Gpa Mark 'n Gma Mo, and Jess F's bro in law and his girlfriend (Kyle and Emily). It was a GREAT eve of chatting, playing w' the tot, and EATING. There were just as many desserts as main dishes.

Other happenings:

Monday- Valentines Day- My husband knows that I'm a chocoholic AND ice cream fanatic, so what did he do?!? He came in the door with two heart shaped coldstone creamery ice cream cakes. I felt bad then, cause I didn't get him anything (usually we say 'Happy V-day, and that's about it), so he said that it was okay cause he got one for himself. hilarious! :-) They were scrumptious. They were seriously the best ice cream cakes I've ever had...

Tuesday- Playday at Bill 'n Shanda's - we met at the RW library for story hour, and then had lunch 'n played. Shanda and I unsuccessfully attempted to figure out the sewing machine. We even referred to the manual. Enough said.

Tues. afternoon Rhya and I headed up to the farm. Gma babysat while I skijored a bit and then worked on my class. Mike and Kristina came for supper. The eve flew by.

That brings us to today- CONGRATS on the baby GIRL news, Terry and Sarah! We are elated! Now...how are we ever going to be patient enough to wait until JULY to meet this little baby GIRL?!?
