Last week

I have tried to keep journals off and on over the years, but usually it's been 'off'. :-) I'm hoping that this blog will spur me on to record life's moments that I can look back on over the years. So, about last week:

Tues: Went to Cottage Grove with my peanut. Did errands at Target and had a blast in the 75% off baby/kids section! Went to Wendy's and shared a baked potato with Rhya (and endulged in a Frosty- yum but naughty). Went to Cub Foods. Rhya was so tired she kept laying her head down on the cart handle.

Wed: Nate came home sick with an awful cold. Rhya and I went to Forsland's for mtg.

Thurs: Went to Shanda's for a play date. The time FLEW by. Rhya gets into WAY more of the girls' stuff than she used to, now that she can crawl! We read books, played fashion show, swung in sheets, ate chili, and talked and talked and...:-)

Thurs. eve: Met Mom, Kristina, and Mike at the Red Wing subhouse. Then we (minus Mike) drove to Cannon Falls and spent the evening at 'What in Yarnation'. It was AMAZING! Yarn EVERYWHERE! Mom's new knitting projects are mittens for herself and a wool diaper soaker for Rhya. We had a great night out.

 Fri afternoon:
Babes and I went to Trador Joes. She was jabbering and playing with the card merchandise the whole time. Our pantry WAS looking kinda bare, but not anymore! After that we met Nate at Menards and picked up some stuff, including plum paint for the bathroom. After THAT I met my old coworkers at Applebees for supper. Poor Nate spent a lot of alone time over the week, but he was under the weather so it might've been a good thing.

Weekend post coming right up...time for baby story hour in Cottage Grove. I've never gone, so this should be interesting.
